The Rangers have lost Jarrod Saltalamacchia for the season due to a strained right forearm muscle. He played in 61 games for the Rangers this season and he was 50 for 198 (.253 avg, .716 OPS) with 27 runs scored, 3 homers and 26 RBIs. The Rangers expected much more out of Saltalamacchia this season and they might try to trade him over the winter.
