The Texas Rangers have declined 29-year old righty starter/reliever Scott Feldman’s option for 2013, which was valued at $9.25 million bucks. Feldman pitched in 29 games (21 starts) for the Rangers last year and he was 6-11 with a 5.09 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. He pitched in 204 games (101 starts) in his first 8 years in the majors (all with the Rangers) and he was 39-44 with a 4.81 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. This isn’t much of a loss for the Rangers.
