The Texas Rangers lose Ryan Spilborghs
The Rangers have lost 33-year old righty swinging outfielder Ryan Spilborghs, as he has elected to become a free agent. Spilborghs played in 124 games for the Rangers and Indians last year in which he was 131 of 455 (.288 avg, .774 OPS) with 64 runs scored, 9 homers, 69 RBIs and 7 stolen bases. He last played in the majors back in 2011 with the Rockies. Spilborghs has played in 619 games in his first seven years in the majors and he is 424 of 1,561 (.272 avg, .768 OPS) with 222 runs scored, 42 homers, 218 RBIs and 31 stolen bases. This is not much of a loss for the Rangers.
