The over/under for Texas Rangers wins in 2012 is 91.5. The Rangers were 96-66 last year. The Rangers have the same outstanding offense that they had last year as their have been no changes to the starting lineup. They did make some changes in the pitching staff as they have signed Yu Darvish to pitch near the top of the rotation in 2012. The Rangers also signed Joe Nathan to take over as the closer, which will move Neftali Feliz into the starting rotation and Alexi Ogando to the pen. I tend to like those moves for the pitching staff. I like the over as far as Rangers’ wins are concerned in 2012.

This is a tricky win total number. The Rangers will hit the hell out of the ball and they have an outstanding bullpen for 2010. But, the starting rotation is very iffy going into this year. I think the Rangers are going to finish in third place in the A.L. West in 2010 and I would make a small play on the under.
